Wedding Season Brings Fun Wedding Movies

With wedding season kicking into high gear in Kansas City, three (3), fun wedding-themed movies will be hitting movie screens this spring. So, take a walk down the aisle at your neighborhood cineplex and enjoy these stories of matrimonial delight as only Hollywood can tell them. 

Opening May 6th – Something Borrowed” Rated PG-13

The story of Rachel, a young attorney living and working at a law firm in New York. Rachel has always been the consummate good girl—until her thirtieth birthday, when her best friend, Darcy, throws her a party. That night, after too many drinks, Rachel ends up with Darcy’s fiancé.

Opening May 6th – Jumping the Broom

A collision of worlds when two African-American families from divergent socioeconomic backgrounds get together one weekend in Martha’s Vineyard for a wedding.
