Altar Bridal, a bridal gown shop located at 332 W. 75th St., Kansas City, MO, has a great, holiday contest underway. One of three lucky brides not only has the chance to win $1500 towards the wedding gown of her dreams, the Altar Bridal gown contest also helps Harvesters Food Bank in raising much-needed food donations, as well.
Altar Bridal offers a diverse collection of designer gowns by some of the industry’s most exciting up-and-coming designers, including talented local designers. As the area’s only food bank, Harvesters’ mission is to feed hungry people today and work to end hunger tomorrow.
This opportunity is a win-win for a deserving bride and for hungry families. But, if you’re just learning about this wonderful bridal gown contest as I have, you’ve got to get moving now if you want a chance at winning.
Email Altar Bridal at email@example.com with a unique or heartfelt story of why you should be chosen as one of the three, Kansas City area brides to compete as a finalist in the bridal gown contest. Stories must be received by Friday, November 11th, 2011, at midnight.
Altar Bridal will review all of the entries and choose the three most compelling stories to continue on in the contest.
On Tuesday, November 15, 2011, Altar Bridal will place three Harvester collection bins in their store window, each representing one of the three, finalist brides.
Those brides will be encouraged to invite their friends, family, co-workers, etc., to stop by the Altar Bridal store and “vote” for them by placing canned food items in their individual, Harvesters’ bin.
On Wednesday, November 30th, 2011, the bride who has the most cans of food in her Harvester bin…WINS!! She’ll not only receive the $1500 bridal gown credit, but Harvesters will also be able to feed a number of Kansas City families with the many cans of food sure to be collected in all bins.
Even if you don’t have a “favorite” Kansas City bride entered in the Altar Bridal, bridal gown contest, Ron Ruth Wedding Entertainment encourages you to stop by their store and drop a can of food in each of the three bins. You’ll be a winner, too, for supporting such an outstanding contest to benefit such a noble cause.
